Winning Entrepreneurs organises 5 different types of events focusing on our primary aims of sharing knowledge, learning, networking and business creation. We value feedback from our members in terms of topics for events and are fortunate that we have a wealth of expertise and experience within our membership which gives us access to excellent speakers. Expert Forums cover a wide range of topics relevant to entrepreneurial businesses. We welcome experts in a particular field to share their knowledge and experience in a highly interactive forum. Past topics include Franchising, Stress Testing Your Business, Maximising PR Opportunities.
New Media Breakfasts
We co-host New Media Breakfasts on a monthly basis with our partners fatBuzz, a leading Scottish company specialising in Social Media, Design & Marketing & Event Management. At each breakfast, we welcome a speaker to present on a specific topic within the new media arena, past topics include Twitter, Podcasts & Videos, Google Marketing & PPC.
Spotlight Dinners are attended by circa 15 – 20 members and are topic based with a speaker. Past Dinners have included Exit Strategies, Funding Growth & Secrets of Business Success.
Informal drinks are the only type of event we host which is not topic-based. These events allow members to network in an informal environment over drinks and in various city centre venues.
Annual Charity Fundraising Dinner & Awards Ceremony
Formal Dinners & our Annual Awards Ceremony takes place on an annual basis and is open to members and guests. In September 2010 we announced our partnership with charity Dreamz4u based in Scotland who make dreams come true for sick and disabled children. We are working with Dreamz4u on an ongoing basis and they will be the beneficiaries of all of our fundraising activities. The date for the 2011 dinner will be confirmed shortly.
